Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

The Journey Readings: Week 101... and... nineteen days...

The Twenty-Five Days... comes with the challenge of weaving in The Journey... and a posting seven days a week...

In His faithfulness... He provides a Word from the reading through... with nineteen days to go...

He is the... Faithful... Servant... King... for all peoples...

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
And he will swallow up on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all nations.
He will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away
from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.
Isaiah 25:6-8 ESV

The King... He comes for all nations... all peoples...

We all suffer from the same cover cast over...
death... the consequence of sin...

He is a King for all people who choose to receive Him...
those to whom He has been revealed...

He is the King who destroys death...
wipes away tears...
cleans up hearts...

His Kingdom... His rule... a sure foundation...
the firmest foundation on which to build a life...

Therefore the Lord God said:
"Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;
the one who believes will be unshakable. ..."
Isaiah 28:16 HCSB

Come under His covering...
Life...
Peace...
Joy...
Glory...

Abide in His Kingdom...

Lord... Your Kingdom is unshakable...
I receive You as my King...
Teach me to walk... live... abide... in Your Kingdom...
