Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

i forgot...

For the first time... in I don't know how long... I forgot...

And I wonder... How...?
too much to do...?
forgot to ask Him... What's next...?
distracted by self...?
leaning on my own understanding...?
were there just no words...?

I don't know... it just happened...

So here I sit... resting in His grace...
waiting to see... if we'll continue...
or is this coming to an end...?

Maybe it has no significance at all...
except as a humble reminder...
of my own limits...

For from his fullness we have all received,
grace upon grace.
John 1:16 ESV

  1. You can't stop! You just can't. In my quiet time in the early morning Jeremiahs Menu reminds me how great our God is and works so beautifully to bring us closer to Him. I think sometimes forgetting reminds us we are all human and a gentle reminder from God for us to slow down in our world. Thank you my dear friend for sharing your words from Him with others.
