Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

i don't know...

This morning... before I left the house... I was reminded... I don't know...

I don't know what goes on in the hearts of men... especially the loved ones living under my roof...

I don't know what He's up to... what's growing in the unseen depths of a heart... until it breaks through and sprouts...

I don't know His timeline...

I just don't know much of anything really...

But... I do know... that He knows...

And... I know that He is trustworthy... with all... I... don't... know...

The first verse of one of my favorite songs... helps my heart to rest... in all I don't know...

The sun comes up it's a new day dawning...
It's time to sing Your song again...
Whatever may pass... and whatever lies before me...
Let me be singing when the evening comes...

Bless the Lord... O my soul... O my soul...
Worship His holy name...
Sing like never before... O my soul...
I worship Your holy name...

Whatever may pass... and whatever lies before me...
I can still keep singing... because He knows...

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro
throughout the whole earth, to give strong support
to those whose heart is blameless toward him.
2 Chronicles 16:9 ESV
