Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

when He presses...

When He presses something on your heart and mind...
you really don't have much choice but to do it...
or at least I don't...

Even if it's new... and it takes way too long to figure out...
and even if it feels crazy... because you feel behind on many other things...
and even if it pushes you way out of your comfort zone..
and you feel as if you won't ever finish... and look like a failure...

So as He pressed... that's just what I've done...
spent too much time on something new...
felt crazy... and behind...
stepping way outside my comfort zone... (again...)
wondering how it will get finished...
hoping not to look like a failure...

I guess that's what happens... when you step out to offer a study on faith...

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for,
the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 NASB95

To see a place I've stepped out in today...
much of it still unseen... and unwritten...
