Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

He will be... exalted...

In a world where He doesn't get much mind...
some wonder... Where is He...?

His church neglects His Word...
whole peoples follow other gods...
individuals follow their own way... instead of seeking His...

Where is He...?

When people rebel... and say He isn't...
when nations systematically... extinguish those who Believe...
when His own people... feebly praise... worship... wander...

Where is He...?

Where is He when He's neglected... ignored...
made smaller than He actually is...?

Where is He...?

He's present...
patiently waiting...
for those He knows are coming...
for those whose time has not yet come...

But those of us who know...
who fret when He's made little of...
who feel inept in our ability to praise Him adequately...
need not fear for His reputation...

We need only be still... and wait...

"Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!"
Psalm 46:10 ESV

He... will... be... exalted...
every knee bent to Him...
every heart recognize Him...
the day will come...

He... will... be... exalted...
