Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

the joy of new...

We began teaching sewing lessons at the shop recently...
a class of children... and a class of adults...

And what a wonder it is to see the girls and ladies learn new things... create new things... to see the joy on their faces... at the new they have learned and done...

I think about Him making all things new...

And he who was seated on the throne said,
"Behold, I am making all things new."
Revelation 21:5 ESV

I've experienced a bit of the joy of Him doing new things in me...
but seeing joy in others... at the experience of new...
makes me greatly anticipate the JOY of the day...
when He makes ALL things new...

"... He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more,
neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more,
for the former things have passed away."
Revelation 21:4 ESV
