Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

a timely reminder...

As I listen to a friend struggle with relationships...
see the chaos... confusion... in the church...
listen to the insanity... being stirred... by the government...
a timely reminder... comes to my thoughts...

For not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful.
2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 ESV

The reason for the craziness in the world...
not all have faith...

The reason for not getting drawn into the craziness in the world...
the Lord is faithful...

Because of His faithfulness we shall not fear...
His purpose will come to pass...
He is not surprised by any of it...
He has all things under control...

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast!
I will sing and make melody! Awake, my glory!
Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.
Psalm 57:7-10 ESV
