Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

it's been a journey...

Today... preparing for two weeks away... led me to review... where Jeremiah's Menu began... wondering how to approach the next two weeks.... in anticipation of iffy internet access...

Reading the earliest posts... after being called to blog six days a week... two and a half years ago... it strikes me...

It's been a journey...

Many of the first posts written... seem like they just happened... and I see transformation in me... and the writing... and wonder at the lessons remembered...

So for the next two weeks... I believe I'll re-post... some of the things I've learned along this journey...

A reminder... review... of His faithfulness... to me... along the way...

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,
and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,
when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings
I will sing for joy.
Psalm 63:5-7 ESV
(my emphasis)

Maybe you'll remember too... or read something you've never read before... any way... I hope you enjoy...
