Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

more early morning thoughts... on daily devotions... and coffee...

Again... approaching the dailys with Him... first thing in the morning... coffee in hand... pressed to lip... feeling... breathing in...

Lord... If only I could experience physical sensations of You...
like coffee...

Then the thought it comes...

All of creation reflects who He is...

He gives us physical experiences... for us to connect with Him... see Him in it... through it...

Creation... it is incredibly beautiful... amazingly complex... beyond human understanding... filled with mystery and wonder... fragrances... tastes... sensations...

He knew we would break relationship with Him... from before creation He knew... we would not always walk with Him in the Garden... He knew...

So He prepared... a world... a universe... in which we can physically sense Him... get a taste of who He is... through what He has made...

Like coffee... He's warm... stimulating... fresh... each morning...

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of His glory."
Isaiah 6:3

Look for Him today... sense Him physically... through what He has created... for us... for you... for me...

May He bless you... with a physical sense of who He is... today...
