Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

a word to practice...

Do everything without complaining or arguing...
Philippians 2:14

This word comes to mind to practice...
as I go about a task I don't really want to do...

The Word convicts...
so I practice...

I seek out the Word to share it here...
and find the benefits... of the practice...
the need for conviction...

Do everything without complaining or arguing,
so that you may become blameless and pure,
children of God without fault in a crooked
and depraved generation, in which you
shine like stars in the universe as you hold out
the word of life...
Philippians 2:15-16

The practice of denying the desire to complain...?
Blamelessness... purity...
faultlessness... among a crooked generation...
the opportunity to shine like a star...
holding out the word of life... for others to receive...

Good reason to hold my tongue...
take captive my thoughts...
quiet my heart...

Thank You... Lord... for this reminder today...
I so want to be pure... a light in the dark...
one who offers life...

Is there a Word you need to practice today...?
you're welcome to share mine... :)
