Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

He is into details...

The reading through of Exodus... brings me to His plans for the tabernacle... and the garb for the family of priests...

I wonder at the details...

And you shall make it according to all that I show you,
the pattern of the tabernacle or dwelling
and the pattern of all the furniture of it.
Exodus 25:9 Amp

He gives plans for... the ark... the mercy seat... curtains... utensils... bowls... garments studded with stones... a turban with blue and a plate of gold... on... and... on... the materials to use... and the construction of each item...

A look at His creation... filled with tiny details... codes of DNA... defining all that grows... reveals this aspect of His character...

He is into details...

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
Romans 1:20 ESV

Pictures from the porch... reveal details of creation...

He has the capacity to care... for each sparrow that falls... and to know... the number of hairs on each head...

His capacity for grace... amazes... for He knows... each sin... from greatest to smallest... each causes offense... each creates a debt... yet each has been paid for... with the life of His Son...

Yes... He is into details...

And I am thank-full... for His infinite love... care... and attention... to each one...
