Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

lessons from a mother's prayer

What do you do... when loved ones... seem to be going backward... not forward...

Dangling feet in pits... returning to old ways... rather than returning to the Lord...?

WHAT DO YOU DO???


Lord... what should I do?

Do they have to go deep... into pits... before they cry out to You?

Are my attempts to teach... train... protect... hindrances to their growth... to Your work?

I see them... going... words... warnings... wisdom... don't deter....

Show me how to help...

Show me how to save....

I don't want them to experience the pits I inhabited... for so long... the mistakes... missteps... I made...

Can't they avoid hard lessons learned...?

I hear my own words... I read them here...
I cannot help...
I cannot save...

Only You, Lord... You say...

"I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God. ..."
Ezekiel 11:19-20

Lord... to You I give my loved ones... I do not want to get in Your way... I cannot help... I cannot save... only You...
