Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

the wonder of a blog...

The wonder of a blog... journaling online... with a search engine attached...

Gathering Related fare... for Thursday evening's post... I find a post from February...

A prayer based on the same piece of a psalm...

You make the going out of the morning
and the evening to shout for joy.
Psalm 65:8 ESV
Lord... make me...
like the morning... and evening...
each day...
Rising... and setting...
going out...
with shouts... of joy...!
Reviewing the posts... centered on this particular verse of psalm... I find this prayer echoed... and answered... among posts in November...

A prayer offered in February...
forgotten by November...
remembered by Him...
recognized as answered in January...

The wonder of a blog... seeing answered prayer...

He is faithful to answer prayer...
even when we've forgotten what we prayed...

He is faithful to answer prayer...
in His timing... and in His way...

But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord.
At an acceptable time, O God,
in the abundance of your steadfast love
answer me in your saving faithfulness.
Psalm 69:14 ESV

How many prayers have you offered...? and forgotten...?
Have you seen His faithfulness...? to answer prayer...?

Consider starting... keeping... a prayer journal...
A place you write requests...
A place to go back... on occasion... to review...
Opening your eyes anew... to His faithfulness...
