but the Lord establishes his steps.

A man sets in his heart... plans... for the day... week... month... year... life...
But God... determines the steps...
When things go smoothly... and goals are met... praise Him... He made it possible...
When things go wrong... difficulties... challenges... mishaps... pave the way... goals delayed... or unmet... praise Him... He established each step...
Praising Him... at the end of a day... when expectations... goals... plans... did not quite turn out as expected...
Trusting Him... to use it for good...
And we know that for those who love God
all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 ESV
