Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

the joy... of heart preparation...

Finding joy... in preparing a heart for Him...

Worship...

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
Psalm 100:2

Communion...

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it,
and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you;
do this in remembrance of me."
Luke 22:19

Shining light...

In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they my see your good deeds and praise
your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

Fellowship...

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son,
purifies us from all sin.
1John 1:7

Consider Him...

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men,
so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Hebrews 12:3

A joy available each day... through active preparation...

Making room for Him... in your heart...

May your Christmas be filled with joy... hope... peace... and love...
and continue throughout the year...
