Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

righteousness... it's a choice...

Do not present your members to sin
as instruments of unrighteousness,
but present yourselves to God
as those who have been brought from death to life,
and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.
Romans 6:13 ESV

present... verb... 1a (1): to bring or introduce into the presence of someone especially of superior rank or status... 2: to make a gift to 3: to give or bestow formally...
...present yourselves to God... as instruments for righteousness...

I see it in the word... present... it's a choice... to gift yourself to God... for His use...

Each day... we have a choice to make...
presenting our bodies to sin...
or to Him...

Each moment... of each day...
will we be used for unrighteousness...
or righteousness...?

...present yourselves to God... as those who have been brought from death to life...

Here's the good news... that makes the choice easy...

Knowing who He is... and what He's done for you...
how can you choose anything else...?

Righteousness... it's a choice....

How will you choose today...?

Do you not know that if you present yourselves
to anyone as obedient slaves,
you are slaves of the one whom you obey,
either of sin, which leads to death,
or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
Romans 6:16 ESV
