Develope a Palate

Develope a Palate
Daily intake of the Word nourishes the Spirit. Jeremiah's Menu is an exercise in recognizing God's Word made flesh in and around me. Eating the Word in a way that supplies the spiritual nutrients needed to grow. The Menu is offered with the hope of inspiring you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bon Appetite!

Quote Du Jour

Quote du Jour
Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite; and if we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven. At the table of fellowship with Jesus we are one bread and one cup. As the loving cup goes round we pledge one another heartily therein. Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna. ---Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening

thank-full... there's no need to figure it out...

The world says... Figure it out...

All the pressure on us... to make things happen... and find our way...

But God... His way... is not our way...

He says....

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding...
Proverbs 3:5 ESV

He says...

"Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you. ..."
Matthew 7:7 ESV

He reveals... His way... to His people...

Never... (I'm pretty sure... let me know if I'm wrong...) does He say... Figure it out...

He says... Trust Me...

And faith is... being sure of what we hope for... and certain of what we do not see...

We don't need to see... until... He reveals...

"The secret things belong to the Lord our God,
but the things that are revealed belong to us..."
Deuteronomy 29:29 ESV

He says...

"Come and see..."
John 1:39 NLT

Thank-full... in Him... there's no need to figure it out...

Because He will reveal... at the proper time...

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade---
kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded
by God's power until the coming of the salvation
that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Peter 1:3-5
