waiting around

All around... broken... discontent... souls stirred...
unhappy about aging...
sarcasm... spewing...
self-indulgence... stealing...
impatience... hardening...

Still praying... longing for saving... to help... to rescue...
but I can't even help myself...

I am not the one who saves...

I am to WAIT... on the One who saves...

Be a WAITER...

Attentive to the One I serve... watching... listening... ready to respond...

I am still confident of this:

I will see the goodness of the Lord

in the land of the living.

Wait for the Lord;

be strong and take heart

and wait for the Lord.
