receiving...

A day of receiving... everything... just as it came...
from inadvertently deleting work...
to an unexpected gift...
from a possible theft...
to blessings of grace...

I could have labeled each...
good or bad...
but today... I found myself...
simply... receiving...

Lessons of His sovereignty...
perhaps they're sinking in...?

Or maybe... the practice of...
Sabbaths... and communion...
are impacting my spirit...?

Hmmm...
all I know...
it feels... a little different...
trusting His hand... in all things...

For from his fullness we have all received,

grace upon grace.
