The Journey Readings: Week 69... and panting...

As a deer pants for flowing streams,

so pants my soul for you, O God.

My soul thirsts for God,

for the living God.

Psalm 42:1-2 ESV

Journeying through the Psalms... I wonder... 

Is this true of me...?

Is it true of the Church...?

Do we pant for Him...? thirst for Him...?

Can you get enough of Him...?

We all have an emptiness we are trying to fill... 

Do we recognize it can only be filled by Him...?

Do we know... relationship with Him... is at the root of all our longing...?

Lord... my soul pants... and longs... for You...

My God and my Redeemer... fill the thirst in my soul...

 with Your presence...

Come into His presence... through the Psalms...
