Wait...
Both require attentiveness... alertness to the next call...
Those who are served -- self-serving -- make the call... give the command...
Servers... waiters... listen... in every circumstance... every situation... not looking to self but to Master... always attentive... waiting...
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
